Ok, so I co-ordered something from co.uk (via the reseller thing, not amazon
thing, there as well) and when I've put in my addres sin the French site and
pressed continue, this shows:

And the co.uk site says this - which I am assuming is a translation of the

So, apparently you can't order things from Amazon to anywhere in the world -
yet "Suéde" (which I am assuming means Sweden) was selectable in the order
process.

Maybe this is a limitation on the reseller thing, not when you buy directly
from Amazon?

So how do I circumvent this? I don't know any french people that I could have
this sent to that would resend it to me, so I'm stumped. Can I somehow get in
contact with these specific resellers and ask them directly instead of going
through Amazon?

Any help is appreciated.

Could it be because your delivery address doesn't match your billing
address? That's a nono, sometimes.

I dunno how Amazon works with these things, but maybe the seller doesn't
want to ship to Sweden? (maybe the country selector is generic).

If you like, I can try buying it, and will send it over to you. Maybe
it'll work to the UK? Who knows. Let me know if you wanna give it a
blast. All I'd expect in return is cost-recovery, obviously.

Well, I don't have an account, and I believe I checked a boox that said they
should be the same. I.e. I only entered one address.

Exactly - maybe the worldwide shipping is for Amazon stock only. Amazon can't
guarantee worldwide shipping on behalf of their resellers.

Well, if they won't ship to Sweden, I don't think they'll ship to UK either.

You can try, of course. You would naturally be compensated accordingly as long
as I can get the receipt.

My best course of action should be that I ordered it but had it sent to a
french address, where someone would just resend it to me. That would mean that
I would pay for it, and there would be no problem with trust that way. But
there would still be the issue of this french guy having a quadrilogy head paid
for sent to him... Hmmm :)

Hi Sandman, sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with the
francais thingy!

You can contact the seller direct by clicking on his/her name and a
page opens up with feedback etc - and in tiny writing is "contact this
seller" (contactez ce vendeur). The problem we obviously foresee is
that the seller may not be able to read or speak or word of english so
you cant appeal to him/her to send it to you anyway.

This link is a direct translator - which might help you!

http://www.worldlingo.com/en/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html

Another alternative is to contact Amazon.co.uk and ask them to help
you, explain exactly whats happened and go from there - I am sure they
would be more than willing to advise you in some way, shape or form.

All the best,

Tracy
