Ya, we know. ;) The actress that portrays her, Jenette Goldstein,
ain't bad either, but "babe" wise, yeah, I'd put Vasquez at the top followed
by Patti Jean (military police character in The Presidio) and then Officer
Shapiro (one o' the Lethal Weapon flicks; she got blown up on her pool's
diving board, I think.) She did a good job in T2, but the character was a
bit frumpy, eh? And you only really see her from the back in the Trek movie
she did.

And she's only a couple years younger than me, which is, uhm...well.
Never mind.

Wow - ALIENS was her first ever film/tv appearance according to IMDB!

Also, I couldn't place her in T2... until I saw her surname in the film
- voigt. Voigt - Todd the one that had the knife through the head, was
the husband and Jenette Goldstein was the mother. heh, didn't notice her
there.

but apart from aliens, she hasn't really had any major parts in big
feature films. I wonder why - she seems a good actress!

I suspect she's one of those actors that only works when they want
to - I've never run across squat for biographical info, so she seems to
zealously guard her privacy. Probably only comes out when, say, one of the
kids needs a couple years tuition, stuff like that. Which is cool. And she's
too old now for the usual leading role w/out having a deeper resume'...yes,
Hollywood's stupid.

Well we could debate about the above all day and every day and every
day in between! There are plenty good actors and actresses that don't
work as much as we think they should - it all has to do with the
"powers that be"!
