I caught this gentleman trying to mind his own business in the bottom
of the Forbidden Planet bookshop on Sunday afternoon. He signed his
autograph for me too. I'm a great Jeunet and Caro fan and a Beineix
fan, so I found it meaningful in that respect

well he didn't talk much. I suppose that either he was a little shy or
he didn't want to talk too much because English isn't his first
language, and he seemed more content to wander around The Forbidden
Planet shop in a state of wonder about the place, He only stopped
because he noticed me looking at him in a curious way as he walked
past me, (or maybe he was looking curiously at my pyramid hat, I don't
know) and then I mentioned that I knew who he was. He mentioned how
the shop was amazing, he was open to signing autographs, I mentioned
something about the films I'd seen him in, he acknowledged that we
both had the same first name, although mine is the English version,
and then I asked him if I could take a photo, he seemed a little
uncertain about that but in the end okay, so i got out my digital
camera, he posed, and that was it, I told him it was an honour to meet
him, and he said something back to that respect, and I let him go on
to continue to wander around the shop.

Hah, the name thing completely slipped by me - sounds like a very down-
to-earth guy - I like that. Only celeb I ever met was when I was a
kid, got Pat Paulsen's autograph. (Pat's the guy who used to run for
US President all the time on some sort of comic ticket). He was eating
lunch when the word spread he was there, and then there's a bunch of
us kids, all wet and sandy from the beach, standing there in awe of
the guy. (Hey, if you did Laugh-In back then...you were BIG. :) ) He
seemed to really enjoy the attention.
OK now, off to Switzerland with you! Shoo! :)

LOL, and you're wondering why the guy is acting a little reticent....

"Mommy, why does that man have those wires on his head?"
"Shh dear, don't upset the maniac."

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

(My old uni had a small natural history museum on one floor of the
biology building that had a mummified mouse under/in a plexiglas
pyramid. They called it, naturally enough, "Tut-Mouse". The thing was
definitely well-preserved, I'll give it that. Dom....yer gonna pickle
your brain! Take it off! Aaaahhhhh!!!!)

well, I get stopped about four times a day with people asking me about
the pyramid and why I'm wearing it, I might get half a dozen people
taking photos of me on some days, and have thousands of people staring
at me a week, and all kinds of people whispering various little
comments, but in central London, because of the polluted air, it's
neccessary to wear on especially because of it's de-ionizing effect,
otherwise by the time I get home, I'll be worn out. It works very very
welll, and keeps me feeling very very relaxed and focused. I would
recommend that more people should wear them.

Gosh thanks! I forgot all about Pinkypinky for half a moment. I'll
have to upload my latest sketches soon since I have not done this for
a few months
